On January 3, 2021, the first event with participation of all project participants was held online thus kicking off the series of online events with participation of all project beneficiaries.
The very first online project event was dedicated to the project values. The main goal of the event was to bring together all participants of the project from Baku and the regions and allow them to get to know each other. Project Director Bahruz Hidayatzade delivered a presentation about the six project values, after that an interactive discussion and a Q&A session were held. Holding virtual events was necessitated by the quarantine regime in the country to ensure continuous learning of project beneficiaries in line with required safety measures.
In the project’s current 7th year, “Build Your Future!” support around 150 young people from 6 districts of Baku (Binagadi, Garadagh, Khatai, Khazar, Sabunchu, Surakhani) and five regions outside of the capital city (Agdash, Hajigabul, Kurdemir, Ujar, Yevlakh). Sponsors of the Project’s current year include BP and co-venturers (beneficiaries form Garadagh as well as Agdash, Hajigabul, Kurdemir, Ujar, Yevlakh), EY Azerbaijan, Baker Tilly Azerbaijan, IpekSu, and Port of Baku.
