On August 4-6, 2017, Build Your Future Project organized a three-day summer camp for its participants. The goal of the camp was to bring together highest-performing participants for a three-day retreat, training, and networking.
Forty-eight project beneficiaries who obtained the highest scores on the centralized admission exam participated in the training sessions delivered by Mr. Joshgun Karimov, trainer, co-founder of the GR8 company and the author of two books (“Kvan” and “Ubuntu”). The training sessions covered two important topics and equipped the project beneficiaries with information and skills on defining objectives and their achievement, and leadership. During the camp, project participants also took part in numerous teambuilding activities and group challenges, which allowed them to practice their problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, working in a team, and other skills.
Participation in the summer camp was also a good opportunity to rest after a yearlong preparation for the university admission exam and gather energy before the start of the academic year at local universities.
This year’s camp was funded by the Rotary Club International Baku.
