On November 3, 2019, “Build Your Future!” Youth Support Project held its first event with the regional participants in the sixth year of the project in Gabala region.
Speakers of the event included Huseyn Hasanov, a psychologist and English language teacher of the European Azerbaijan School, and Joshgun Ismayilov, a trainer from “Goychay Development Center” Youth Public Union, and project alumni who are in their senior year at universities. Project alumni Samir Gulamzada (Azerbaijan Technical University), Qasida Rasulzada (Baku State University), and Akbar Mikayilov (ADA University) gave presentations and held interactive games with the project participants. The speeches of the young people covered time management, goal setting, stress management, and other topics.
Aside from weekly classes, “Build Your Future!” Youth Support Project holds monthly events and meetings with a psychologist to contribute to personal development of the project beneficiaries, increase their worldview, and improve their self-expression. Project’s work in Agdash, Hajigabul, Kurdamir, Ujar, and Yevlakh regions in its current 6th year is supported by BP and co-ventures as well as Veyseloglu Group of Companies.
